Samson Kafovalu, CU Buffs lineman, jailed in Boulder on obstruction charge

University of Colorado defensive lineman Samson Kafovalu was arrested by Boulder police overnight on suspicion of obstructing a police officer, the third time Kafovalu has had a run-in the the law since joining the team.

Kafovalu, 22, was booked into the Boulder County Jail at 4:40 a.m. today and is being held on $500 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court today.

According to Boulder police spokeswoman Shannon Cordingly, bouncers at the Sundown Saloon on the Pearl Street Mall called police after a heavily intoxicated Kafovalu was denied entry into the bar and was being uncooperative.
