Lexy Kresl and Brittany Wilson, who played three seasons in the same University of Colorado basketball backcourt, have each signed one-year professional contracts to play with Mark Basket Marbo Kinna in Sweden.
Kresl and Wilson played together from 2011-14, combining for over 2,000 points, 300 three-pointers and nearly 600 assists. The duo appeared in three postseason events together including the 2013 NCAA Tournament.
Wilson will be playing her second season of professional basketball overseas. She played for KR Reykajavik in Iceland, averaging 17.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists in two games before suffering a season-ending injury.
