CU football: Buffs' rushing attack grounded by Oregon

A huge factor in the University of Colorado's solid 3-1 start to the season was a resurgent rushing attack that chewed up yardage regardless of who was carrying the ball.

For the first time this season, that running game was unable to gain any traction Saturday night in a 41-24 loss against Oregon.

"They're definitely a good defense. We just weren't able to get the ball rolling like we needed to," running back Christian Powell said. "We felt like we wanted to. We felt like we should've. We just weren't able to when we needed it."

The Buffs' ground game had been one of the top bright spots of the team heading into Saturday night.
