The Colorado women's tennis team's bid for consecutive conference wins ended on Sunday afternoon as the Buffaloes fell 5-2 to the Washington Huskies in Boulder.
The loss dropped CU to 9-6 overall and 1-3 in the Pac-12, while UW improved to 13-4 overall and 2-1 in Pac-12. The Buffs were coming off a win over Washington State at home on Friday.
The Huskies swept doubles with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 for an early 1-0 lead in the match.
CU evened the team score at the No 2 singles spot with Louise Ronaldson. She beat Washington's Nour Abbes in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2.
