BOULDER — Cleaning up the spill didn’t come easily.
At the end of a timeout early in the first half of Colorado’s game against No. 25 USC on Sunday, a referee spotted liquid on the court that appeared to have found its way into trouble from a leaking cooler on the sideline. It took several minutes, multiple mopping devices, ball boys, an equipment manager and a young fan in a courtside seat with a towel to finally dry the hardwood.
Cleaning up the issues that have plagued the Buffaloes during an increasingly disappointing season? That is proving to be an even more complicated task.
