SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The Colorado Buffaloes tennis team competed in the first day of the San Diego State Invitational at the Aztec Tennis Center on Friday, but struggled to find their footing going 3-9 combined as a team in both doubles and singles.
This was not the start to the weekend the Buffs were hoping for by any means. They struggled from the first doubles serve of the morning losing three of the first four matches.
The lone bright spot early on came from Aya El Sayed and Pia Rebec competing for only the second time together.
