LAWRENCE, Kan. - Kansas scored less than 18 minutes into the match and held on for a 1-0 win over Colorado on Friday night at Rock Chalk Park in Lawrence, Kan.
The Buffaloes were handed their first loss of the season, dropping to 2-1, while KU improved to 2-1.
WHAT HAPPENED: Colorado dominated both possession and scoring chances the entire match, but the net evaded the Buffs' offense.
CU's first two big scoring chances came in the 10th minute when Taylor Kornieck ripped a shot from the top of the 18-yard box and the KU goalkeeper was unable to control the rebound.
