BOULDER- Football's Jarek Broussard is the CU Athlete of the Week, presented by Arrow.
Broussard continued the record-setting start to his career on Saturday in a 24-13 win against Arizona, where he rushed for 301 yards on 25 rushing attempts in a 24-13 Buffs win. It is just the fourth time a Buff has ran for 300 yards in a game and the first since Chris Brown ran for 309 yards in 2002.
The sophomore running back had three carries for 50-plus yards (75,72,59) which set a new record for Colorado. Broussard ran for 155 yards in the second quarter which is a CU record for rushing yards in a quarter, breaking Eric Bieniemy's 131 yards in 1988.
