PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. – University of Colorado sophomore tennis player Tina Bokhua pulled off one of the biggest wins in CU history Friday, defeating Florida’s Josie Kuhlman by a score of 5-7, 6-4, 7-6 (5).
The win marked the first win at the ITA All-American Championships main draw in CU history. Kuhlman was ranked as the No. 5 player in the nation in the ITA preseason rankings of Sept. 15. She was the No. 4 seed in the main draw and after losing yesteday, was the No. 2 seed of the back draw.
