CU hoops recruit injures knee

Colorado basketball recruit Cameron Satterwhite may have torn the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee on Friday night during an AAU tournament in Las Vegas.

Satterwhite, who plays club ball for Arizona Power, landed awkwardly after a dunk in a game against Houston Hoops at Rancho High School.

"I dunked the ball and then I landed and my knee just kind of gave out and it buckled inward and then popped right back in place," Satterwhite told Buffzone.com on Friday night. "Then, I dropped and held my knee."

A three-star recruit from Gilbert, Ariz., the 6-foot-4, 165-pound guard said doctors feared that it was an ACL tear.
