The Tampa Bay Lightning, like the Colorado Avalanche and 26 other NHL teams, are watching the Stanley Cup Finals on television. That’s harsh, I know, but it’s true.
Tampa Bay fell to a superior Pittsburgh Penguins team in a Game 7 that was at least more exciting that the previous round’s Game 7s had been. That said, the Penguins dominated the Bolts, and only the play of Tampa’s goalie saved them from being embarrassed. (Sound familiar? I’ll get to that in a moment.)
So, while the Tampa Bay Lightning try to process what happened, Colorado players can help secure their golf tee-times.
