Colorado Avalanche Should Acquire Anaheim Free Agents

The Colorado Avalanche are going to make some changes in the off-season. That’s pretty typical when a team fails to live up to expectations, as the Avs did this season.

Colorado also has a record of making big personnel changes in the off-season. Not only has the team let go of big names such as Paul Stastny and Ryan O’Reilly, but management has switched out the majority of the role players.

What’s more, while head coach Patrick Roy eschews free agency as too expensive, GM Joe Sakic has forshadowed that he intends to make some changes.

Now, during his end-of-the-season presser, Sakic remarked that he was specifically going to improve “the back end.
