J.T. Compher is one of the Colorado Avalanche’s American-born players. As such he developed through USA hockey. JT played in the world junior with USA and in college as well.
J.J. Johannson was said to be “the pulse of USA hockey.” His untimely death at age 53 shocked the hockey world, and left many players thinking of their memories.
JT Compher was no different when he heard of the news of J.J.s passing:
