This preseason is looking pretty good so far for the Colorado Avalanche, as the team sits with a 2-0 record. Last night’s win was the result of a third period comeback, after the team got off to a slow start.
The third period, you might recall, is when the Avs laid the proverbial egg last season, dropping leads and failing to capitalize in close games. Not the case this time around. As Francois Beauchemin said, according to the Avalanche website.
We weren’t satisfied with the way we played in the first two [periods]. Our goalie kept us in the game and did a great job.
