Altitude Sports will broadcast one Nuggets and one Avalanche game this upcoming week on Channel 20, according to a person familiar with the plans, in an effort to assuage fans frustrated by the ongoing TV carriage dispute.
Channel 20 will carry the Nuggets-Raptors game on Sunday at 4 p.m., then it will air the Avalanche-Red Wings game the following day on Monday at 5:30 p.m.
During the broadcasts, DirecTV, the lone major carrier airing Altitude in the Denver metro, is expected to promote a unique offer for fans of both the Nuggets and Avalanche.
