Split Decision

Well I am glad the second game and first game did not switch because this way I get to go to bed pretty satisfied. There were plenty of bright spots for the Indians during this double-header. There were also as usual, plenty of points of frustration. Mike Clevinger was very frustrating again in his second career start. He showed flashes of potential, but could not provide a solid start. Often, he would get ahead of hitters, but let them back in the count. He seemed like he did not have confidence in his stuff at times, and when he finally did show confidence and challenged the White Sox, Brett Lawrie tattooed a fastball down the middle for a three-run home run.
