CLEVELAND -- Fans are always bringing signs to the game. However, this particular sign got Indians first baseman Mike Napoli's attention. The sign read "Chemo starts tomorrow. Mike Napoli, can I get a hug and a homer?"
Prior to the start of the Indians' 9-2 loss to the Rangers on Monday, Napoli made his way to Kathi Heintzelman and signed some autographs for her.
The latter of the two requests was much harder to do, but Napoli obliged. In the sixth inning with one out, Napoli blasted a 1-2 offering from Derek Holland over the left-field wall to get the Indians on the board.
