Kipnis exits with right hamstring tightness

CLEVELAND -- Jason Kipnis has been trying to stay on the field as much as possible for the injury-riddled Indians. On Tuesday night, the second baseman had to bow out of Cleveland's game against the Red Sox, joining the Tribe's growing list of walking wounded.

Kipnis was in Tuesday's lineup as the designated hitter, but he left after only one at-bat due to tightness in his right hamstring. That has been a persistent problem of late for Kipnis, who missed most of July after straining that hamstring on July 8 against the Tigers and landed on the 10-day disabled list.
