CLEVELAND -- Indians outfielder Austin Jackson has made an immediate impact in each of the team's two games since he was activated from the disabled list before Tuesday's 11-7 extra-innings victory over the Angels at Progressive Field.

Jackson -- who returned to the Tribe after missing nearly a month with a left quad strain -- was inserted right back into the lineup after his DL stint ended, and the veteran outfielder responded well. Between Tuesday and Wednesday, Jackson went 5-for-8 (.625) with five singles, three runs scored, one walk and one RBI.

"Anything I can do to stay healthy and stay out on the field for the team, I'm going to do my best at that," Jackson said.
