CLEVELAND: The Indians lost to the Chicago White Sox 2-1 Sunday, completing a four-game sweep at home in which they scored one or zero runs in three of the four games.
White Sox (46-50) starter Carlos Rodon (4-3) threw 6 u2154 shutout innings, allowing five hits and striking out nine. The Indians didn’t get a run home until the ninth inning, facing closer David Robertson (21 saves).
Down 2-0, Giovanny Urshela tripled to open the inning. Carlos Santana struck out and David Murphy grounded out to make it 2-1. Brandon Moss then flew out to end the game.
