Clevelinks: Cleveland Indians Explode for 12 Runs in Rout of Texas Rangers

Good pitching had been paramount during the Cleveland Indians winning streak, and it returned on Wednesday with Carlos Carrasco and his fine eight innings of work. The good news is that they didn’t necessarily need it as the offense erupted for 12 runs, 10 off of Rangers starter Colby Lewis. Everyone on the Tribe offense contributed, including three home runs total. Lonnie Chisenhall added three hits and was a triple short of the cycle while Jason Kipnis missed it by a home run.

All that offense overshadowed  the strong start of Carrasco, who struck out eight over his eight innings allowing just one run on five hits.
