Leaving the Cavs ring ceremony to watch the Indians: 'I feel like we have LeBron's permission'

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Ninety-seven steps in one minute and five seconds, and they could leave one champion Tuesday night to chase another. So they did.

Out the door of Quicken Loans Arena and across Gateway Plaza to Progressive Field, the double-dippers emerged around 7:45 p.m., the voice of LeBron James in their heads, the lights of the World Series in their eyes.

"I feel like we have LeBron's permission tonight," said 36-year Jeff Zupke, now of Boston, there with this dad, Jim, a Sagamore Hills resident and season ticket holder for both the World Champion Cleveland Cavaliers and World Series participant Cleveland Indians.
