How could the Cleveland Indians replicate last year's 14-game winning streak? Bud vs. Doug

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Indians have had a winning record every day since April 20. With a Trevor Bauer win that Thursday over the Twins, the Indians moved to 8-7, and they haven't been back to .500 since.

They also haven't been more than four games over .500 at any time since this season. Seven times they've reached four games over, at 14-10, 17-13, 18-14, 23-19, 24-20, 27-23 and 28-24. And each time, they lost the next game.

So they haven't been on the wrong side of their record. But they also never gave themselves much breathing room.
