Cleveland Indians needed to get into 'the swing' before rallying to beat Texas Rangers, 15-9

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Momentum is nice, but what comes before momentum? Bench coach Brad Mills says it has to do with "the swing."

The swing certainly covers what a player does with a bat in his hands, but it's also a series of events generated by players that creates momentum for one team or another. On Monday night, Texas engulfed the Indians early.

The Rangers led 7-1 at the end of two innings and 9-3 at the end of four. The Indians were coming off a three-game sweep by the Twins in which they stranded 30 runners, scored two runs and went 1-for-23 with runners in scoring position.
