Cleveland Indians' Carlos Santana shines in a game that ended not once, but twice

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Sometimes the game isn't over even after the scoreboard says it's over.

On a wet Wednesday night at Progressive Field, the Indians thought they'd beaten the Reds, 3-2, when Carlos Santana and Francisco Lindor turned a flashy 3-6-3 double against fleet Billy Hamilton for the last two outs of the ninth inning.

The fireworks operator at Progressive Field pressed the red button and explosions filled the air. Closer Cody Allen and the Indians infielders were celebrating.

"But with replay the game is never really over until they say it's over," said Lindor.

The Reds challenged the out call at first base.
