LeBron James' LA home vandalized with racist graffiti, police say

LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles home of Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James was vandalized with racist graffiti on the eve of the NBA Finals, police said.

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating after someone spray-painted the n-word on the front gates of James' home early Wednesday, an LAPD spokeswoman said.

The slur had been covered up by the time officers arrived shortly after 6:45 a.m., the spokeswoman said.

No arrests have been made but the incident remains under investigation.

James and the Cleveland Cavaliers are set to face the Golden State Warriors in Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night in Oakland.
