For Cavaliers, rockin’ The Q requires more than one team

CLEVELAND: Say one thing about the Cavaliers as an organization — win or lose, they know how to throw a party.

And Quicken Loans Arena rocked as a celebratory tone took hold early and never waned as the Cavs blasted the Chicago Bulls 106-91 Wednesday night to even their Eastern Conference semifinal series at one game apiece.

Those who work behind the scenes and as part of the entertainment teams do their part to ensure that environment remains.

“Sometimes I feel like we’re the punctuation at the end of a sentence — our job is to make sure we’re creating a moment in the building that will let the fans take the energy in the building to the exclamation point level and above,” said Tracy Marek, chief marketing officer for the team.
