Find Your Center

There probably isn’t a position in the NBA that comes in more different shapes and sizes and skillsets than the center spot.

Yeah, they’re all extra-large. But in the ever-changing NBA – one that saw the Cavaliers play two straight teams whose leading rebounder was a guard (Boston [Avery Bradley] and Charlotte [Nicolas Batum]) – the center spot features a total variety of body types, from earth-movers like Andre Drummond to angular rim-protectors like Rudy Gobert.

The Cavaliers are a perfect example of the evolution of the position. Their starting center came into the league as a left-handed 4 and six seasons later is a right-handed 5.
