Cavs Release Draft Night Statement

The 2017 NBA Draft took place last night in Brooklyn, and while some huge moves were made around the league, the Cavaliers were left out of the action.

Due to trades over the years, the Cavs were left without any picks last night. They also missed out on any blockbuster trades involving Jimmy Butler or Paul George.

While talks involving George between the Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers stalled, Butler was traded to Minnesota in perhaps the biggest move of the night.

In return, the Bulls received Zach LaVine, Kris Dunn and the No. 7 overall pick in this year’s draft.
