Boston Celtics, Washington Wizards within a game of second round: 2017 NBA Playoffs rewind

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Top-seeded in the Eastern Conference, Boston took control in the fourth quarter and began to seal its 108-97 win Wednesday vs. Chicago on a dunk by Al Horford (pictured) in the final minutes.

Horford scored 21 points, but the backcourt of Isaiah Thomas and Avery Bradley each had 24 to lead the Celtics in their third straight win. They have a chance to win the series, after losing the first two games, with Game 6 on Friday in Chicago.

The Washington Wizards also pulled a game within advancing to the next round. Meanwhile, the Cavaliers could find out their conference semifinal opponent Thursday night when Toronto visits Milwaukee.
