Evan Mobley has already had an impressive start to his career for the Cleveland Cavaliers. In his first two seasons in the NBA, Mobley already has an All-Defensive First Team selection, and was a finalist for the award. Mobley was the youngest NBA player to ever be a finalist for the DPOY, which is very impressive. He did not win the award, but was still one of the league’s best defenders last season.
Also, Mobley was an All-Rookie First-Teamer back in the 2021-22 season, and might have been robbed of the Rookie of the Year award, as Toronto Raptor Scottie Barnes won the award by a close vote.
