During his four years playing with LeBron James in Miami, point guard Mario Chalmers caught the ire of the King both in private and in public on many an occasion.

Now, Chalmers has some advice for LeBron's new point guard, Kyrie Irving - get ready, because things are about to change.

"LeBron is a dominant player so if he feels like something is not going his way, he's going to say something about it," Chalmers said via Chris Haynes of the Northeast Ohio Media Group. "For Kyrie, he's going to have to adjust to that and LeBron is going to have to adjust to Kyrie. It's going to be a different factor for Kyrie."

When asked to elaborate on his own experience with James, Chalmers refused.

"Man, that process is over and done with it," Chalmers said. "It's a fresh start, fresh team, new year."

In fact, Chalmers doesn't seem to recall much at all about his time playing with James.

"I don't even remember, bro," he said. "Last year is in the past. This is a new year. New me. I'm not thinking about it."

In truth, Irving's skill set (and professional drive) could be enough to keep relations with LeBron in a good place, regardless of Chalmers' warnings to the contrary.
