Cleveland Cavaliers guard Matthew Dellavedova has been given a technical foul by the NBA for his role in a Game 5 incident agains the Chicago Bulls.
A skirmish started after Dellavedova and Bulls forward Taj Gibson fell to the ground while pursuing a rebound. Dellavedova locked his legs around Gibson while they were trying to get up, and Gibson who kicked Dellavedova while trying to get his leg free.
Gibson was ejected from the game, while Dellavedova received no foul on the court. He has been given an automatic $2,000 fine for the technical.
The Cavs lead the series 3-2 entering Thursday's Game 6 in Chicago.
