CLEVELAND, Ohio - Was it worth it?

I know Cleveland Cavaliers fans who got baked like potatoes during the six hours it took for our basketball Caesars, returned from Gaul with all their spoils, to parade through the streets of the American Rome.

I know fans who shook windows and pounded on their sashes in office buildings on Public Square until the literal and figurative King, LeBron James, looked up and waved during the Cavaliers' celebration.

It was crazy. Nothing could match it since the Cleveland Browns' NFL championship in 1964.

During 52 years of waiting for Gary Collins to catch another touchdown pass in a world championship game, the Browns were moved, degraded by the circumstances of their return, and rendered embarrassing by the slapstick quality of their front offices, coaches and players.
