Self-acclaimed dodgeball master Joe Thomas set for Pro Bowl's first Skills Showdown

Browns offensive lineman Joe Thomas touted himself as something as a dodgeball connoisseur earlier this season. Unfortunately for Thomas, a co-creator of the Pro Bowl’s first ever Skills Showdown, it didn't help much.

"I don't want to give anything away,” he told the Dan Patrick Show Thursday morning, “but I was eliminated pretty quickly.”

Thomas, selected to his 10th Pro Bowl in December, was one of several NFL veterans who proposed an array of offbeat activities to “spice up” the league’s annual All-Star game. They’ll include dodgeball and a relay race among other trials.
