Playing hard beats the alternative for the Browns but it's hardly high praise -- Bud Shaw's Sports Spin

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- So now it's Christian Kirksey and Joel Bitonio speaking up for a Browns head coach.

In another season careening toward a Judgement Day, Joe Thomas, D'Qwell Jackson and Jordan Cameron wanted to fight the next person to suggest Rob Chudzinski's brief tenure might be nearing an end.

"Crazy," Jackson called it. "Absurd."

"I think Chud is awesome," Cameron said. "We believe in him."

And we saw this all play out before Chudzinski, too.

In Eric Mangini's final season, the Browns lost seven games by seven points or less.
