About 60,000 Browns fans will file into the 'Shoe on August 7. If you haven't secured your ticket yet, you're too late.
At 10 a.m. this morning, the Cleveland Browns opened registration for the Orange & Browns Scrimmage at Ohio Stadium on Friday, August 7. By 4:30 p.m., the club hit its pre-determined limit of 60,000 free tickets.
The Horseshoe seats over 104,000, but the Browns kept the number at 60,000 to "ensure an optimal fan experience," according to a statement the team released late this afternoon.
Comparing the demand for tickets to last year, just 20,673 turned out for Family Day at the University of Akron in August 2014.
