CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Colleen Crowley's lawyer told a TV station in Dallas that her client suffered a punctured eardrum during her argument with Johnny Manziel Jan. 30.
"They expect (it) to heal but it'll take a while,'' attorney Kathy Kinser told NBC5.
In addition, the affidavit of Crowley's application for the protective order was obtained Monday by NBC5 and other outlets in Texas. It confirms disturbing details of the argument that were first reported last Thursday by News 8 in Dallas.
Manziel is currently under investigation by Dallas police and the NFL for possible domestic violence.
