The Browns cut six players from their roster, including Cleveland native Shane Wynn, general manager Ray Farmer announced Monday morning.

Wynn starred at Glenville High School and had become a fan favorite in training camp. He caught Johnny Manziel’s only touchdown pass of the preseason, a 21-yard strike in a 20-17 loss to Washington.

In addition to Wynn, the team waived tight end Anthony Ezeakunne and terminated the contracts of linebackers Everette Brown and Moise Fokou, defensive back Aaron Ross and running back Jalen Parmele.
