Browns coach Mike Pettine revealed in a recent interview that he fired Dowell Loggains as the team's quarterbacks coach in January for failing to hold Johnny Manziel accountable during his dumpster fire of a rookie season.
"What we did not do a good enough job here [last year], not nearly a good enough job, is holding [Manziel] accountable, even when he wasn’t the guy," Pettine told Sports Illustrated's Jenny Vrentas on Tuesday."That’s the main reason why I made the switch at the QB coach position."
