After cutting or terminating six players on Monday, the Cleveland Browns started Tuesday by making five injury-related roster moves to get down to 79 players. They will have to make four additional moves, likely all cuts, to get down to 75 players by 4:00 PM ET today.
Placed on Reserve/Injured:
- QB Connor Shaw (right thumb) - Suffered a thumb injury during the first preseason game. He will probably stay on IR all season with a shot at being in camp next year.
- OL Michael Bowie (shoulder) - After spending all season on IR last year, it was thought that Bowie could compete for the starting right tackle spot in 2015.
