Browns Involved in the Only Player-Trade During Draft, Acquire Veteran CB Jamar Taylor

The 2016 NFL Draft is officially over, and not only did the Cleveland Browns come away with an astounding 14 new players via draft picks, they were the only team to acquire a player on a current roster too. The Browns held the No. 223 pick (second pick in the 7th round) and swapped with the Miami Dolphins, dropping to No. 250 overall, while also acquiring veteran cornerback Jamar Taylor.

Taylor was a second-round pick by the Dolphins in the 2013 NFL Draft. He played in 12 games for the Dolphins last year, starting in six of them, which makes the trade come out of left field and for basically peanuts.
