On Thursday afternoon, quarterback Connor Shaw announced that he has been released from the Cleveland Browns:

The 24-year-old appeared in just one game for the Browns back in 2014, where he completed 14 passes for 177 yards.
While Shaw's release doesn't necessarily reveal who the Browns will have as their starting quarterback next season, it does whittle down new head coach Hue Jackson's options.
