Defensive coordinator Brent Venables caught the media up with what’s happening on the defensive side of the ball as Clemson shifts its focus to its matchup with Auburn in less than two weeks.

Although Auburn has yet to name a starting quarterback, Venables said that does not change Clemson’s game plan up because the offensive schemes are relatively the same with the different quarterbacks.
“For us, with what we have seen on tape really the scheme is for the most part the same. We have to prepare for both quarterbacks. One might be a little more of a runner than the other,” Venables said.
