Tigers advance to the ACC title game

DURHAM, N.C. — Clemson’s K.J. Bryant slid home safely under Parker Dunshee’s tag at home in the top of the ninth inning, lifting the Tigers to a 5-4 victory over Wake Forest on Saturday at Durham Bulls Park in Durham, N.C. The win advances the Tigers to the ACC Championship Game, Clemson’s first appearance in the title game since 2006 when it beat Georgia Tech to win its last ACC Championship.

With the bases loaded in the top of the ninth inning, Dunshee’s 0-2 offering to Chris Williams was wild, allowing Bryant to come home and just beat the tag.
