Clemson baseball walked off in 11 innings with a 7-6 victory over the Furman Paladins Wednesday night.
Who had the walk-off hit? None other than freshman phenom Seth Beer.
Beer had been 0-for-5 at the plate to that point, but stepped in with two outs and runners on the corners and delivered a single down the left field line to score the game-winning run from third.
What better way to finish the night than that?
The Tigers led 5-1 heading into the seventh, but that’s when the wheels started to come off and Furman found life offensively.
