Clemson Baseball Handles No. 5 Florida State In Game One

The Clemson baseball team handed number-five Florida State a huge 10-3 loss on Saturday in Game One of the three-game series.

The Tigers played very well on offense and had a strong pitching performance, as well.

Chris Okey finished the going 3-for-5 with a three-run homer and five RBI. His three-run home run in the bottom of the eighth gave the Tigers insurance runs to close out the game heading into the ninth.

Clemson got 4.1 innings out of starter Charlie Barnes, but reliever Alex Eubanks picked up the win pitching 2.2 shutout innings in relief, striking out two, and allowing just one hit.
