The Clemson baseball team picked up a series win over Pittsburgh on Sunday afternoon. The Panthers were ranked in the top-25 of the RPI and have played some really good teams such as North Carolina and Florida State close this season.
Many Clemson baseball fans are starting to want to know what it will take for the Tigers to host a Regional. My answer to that is 40 wins. There are some teams that finish with 38 or 39 wins and get to host, but 40 wins pretty much solidifies hosting.
We are halfway through the season and Clemson is sitting at 21-7 overall and 7-5 in ACC play.
