Former Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd feels the guy who replaced him at Clemson is in great position to be chosen in the first-round of the NFL Draft next month.
Boyd told The Clemson Insider recently he thought Deshaun Watson performed outstandingly at Clemson’s Pro Day a few weeks ago and showed NFL scouts, coaches and general managers on hand what they came to Clemson to see.
“I thought that he looked smooth,” Boyd said. “I think the biggest question mark they had about him coming into (pro) day was his deep balls. Obviously, he answered that with flying colors.
