CHARLOTTE, N.C. — There is no extra motivation necessary for the Clemson football team in 2016.
Clemson came up just short in the title game, and that’s all it takes to motivate the Tigers.
“We didn’t win the game. We finished with regrets,” Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney said Friday at the annual ACC Football Kickoff media event when asked how he will keep his team motivated this season. “We want to finish with no regrets. Even had we won the game, for us, we’re going to start over. We’re going to go back to the basics and try to reinstall our program, the core values of our program, get everybody on the same page with a common purpose and go grind.
